Marvel’s Spider-Man Pre-Order Guide

When you pre-ordered your copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PlayStation 4, did you know you were acting like a Superhero?

It’s true! Chances are you didn’t know very much about our game yet, or even the studio that made it (that’s us, in case you’re still wondering…). So it took bravery on your part, dear reader, to plunk down some hard-earned cash in advance of our September 7 global release date.

And since bravery is a hallmark of any reputable superhero…that makes YOU a hero in our eyes too!

You dared to Be Greater, and now it’s almost time for your well-deserved reward to arrive. As you recall, all pre-orders (from participating retailers) include a pre-order bonus featuring a Spidey Suit Pack, Spider-Drone gadget, Skill Points, PlayStation 4 Theme and Avatar! Below is a guide to getting your digital content and where to find the in-game unlocks.

Where Do I Get Them?

If you pre-ordered from one of our partner retailers, that retailer will provide your pre-order code. These are normally given out when you receive the item or when it ships, and is provided via email or by being printed on your receipt. Please always check with your retailer to confirm their participation and pre-order code distribution method.

If you pre-ordered digitally via the PlayStation Store, you will receive the pre-order bonus when you download and install the game.

What about my PSN avatar and theme?

The Avatar will be found under your Profile. Click the three dots and Edit Profile. Then go to Avatar.

The theme is not yet ready to install, but will be at launch. You can find it under Settings -> Themes.

If you pre-ordered digitally from the PlayStation Store, you will get these automatically. If you pre-ordered from any other participating retailer, you will have to redeem these the same as your other bonuses.

What about my physical pin?

If you live in the United States or Canada AND pre-ordered digitally from the PlayStation Store, you will receive an email from FigPin. If you don’t see the email, check your Spam/Junk folder. If you still don’t see it, please contact PlayStation Support or FigPin Support.

Is anything included in the box?

No. Your code is provided by your retailer.

Awesome! When can I use them once I start playing?

Suits will be available via the menu only after you craft the Advanced Suit in the game and unlock the suit menu.

You’ll unlock the Spider-Drone gadget when the game first teaches you to craft gadgets.

Your skill points are available when the game teaches you to spend skill points on the skill tree after the first mission.

What if I didn’t pre-order, do I miss out?

No! You can still unlock all the suits, gadgets and obtain skill points from normal play. You just have to wait longer and earn them in game.

Of course, if you’re feeling brave after reading this post, there’s still some time to pre-order! Sometimes the most heroic moments occur at the last possible opportunity, so don’t miss your chance!
